Being part of an underrepresented minority population can negatively affect your sense of self and belonging and make you more susceptible to burnout. Research has shown that up to 80% of women from underrepresented minority populations experience burnout. When facing such a high risk of burnout, it is essential to recognize the warning signs and take preventive measures. This program is designed to provide you with the necessary tools and strategies to prevent burnout and promote your flourishing.

This program draws on the latest research in wellbeing science and tailors it to your unique circumstances and culture. Specifically, it incorporates Keyes' (2002) mental health continuum, as well as evidence-based strategies from Ryff's (1989) Psychological Wellbeing Model and Ryan & Deci's (2000) Self-Determination Theory and Basic Psychological Needs. By helping you become your true self and pursue your potential without burning out, this program will guide you towards your flourishing.

According to sociologist and psychologist Corey Keyes, languishing is one of the early indicators of burnout. Here are some examples of how you may be feeling if you're languishing:
-
Feeling empty, stagnant, bored, stuck, or uninterested in your activities or work
-
Experiencing a lack of motivation or energy to pursue your goals or be your best self
-
Having trouble focusing or being productive
-
Feeling disconnected from others or experiencing a sense of loneliness
-
Feeling unfulfilled or lacking a sense of purpose
-
Having a low sense of self
-
Struggling with negative thoughts or emotions like anxiety or sadness
-
Experiencing high levels of stress
If you can relate to any of these, this program can offer you support and strategies to help you move towards flourishing.
Core pillars of flourishing include:
-
Feeling at your best
-
Having a strong sense of self
-
Experiencing positive emotions
-
Functioning optimally, psychologically and socially
-
Pursuing your purpose
-
Having a strong sense of belonging
-
Achieving healthy boundaries

The Protocol:
From Languishing to Flourishing
3-Month Protocol:
From Languishing to Flourishing
Everyone's needs are unique; therefore, this program's protocol will be tailored specifically for you. While the topics listed below provide a guide, our work will be highly personalised to meet your specific needs, lifestyle and cultural background.
Wellbeing Dashboard
& Debrief
During our initial session, we will review your wellbeing diagnostics which you would have completed before the session. This will allow us to develop clear goals for our work together. Your diagnostics will be housed and monitored on your personalised wellbeing dashboard.
Sense of Self & Belonging
We recognise that you have a unique identity that is shaped by intersections of ethnicity, language, gender, and culture. Our work embraces these aspects of your identity to foster a stronger sense of self and belonging. By integrating different dimensions of your identity, we aim to help you unlock your full potential and achieve overall wellbeing and success.
Environmental Mastery
Our program aims to strengthen your sense of agency so that you can take charge of your environment. Agency refers to the ability to manage the demands of everyday life and handle different and difficult situations with psychological flexibility and confidence in oneself. By developing a stronger sense of agency, you will be better equipped to navigate challenges and achieve your goals.
Research-Based & Co-Designed
Wellbeing Interventions
Our work includes evidence-based interventions that have been well-researched. Each intervention will be adapted to suit your unique needs, lifestyle, and cultural background. This means the program will be co-designed with you to ensure maximum impact and effectiveness.
Self Mastery
At the heart of our approach is Ryan and Deci's (2000) Self-Determination Theory of motivation, which recognizes three fundamental psychological needs: competence, relatedness, and autonomy. By supporting these needs, we can help you to master your behaviour, cultivate your personal growth, and realise your potential.
Blueprint to Your Potential
Our work will culminate in a personalised blueprint (roadmap) to becoming your future best self, with practical steps and strategies to continue your growth and development beyond the coaching program.
